100 Hours of Astronomy


100 Hours of Astronomy organised by Astronomers without Borders, ESO,UNESCO and IAU is a global event taking place at April 2 to 5 allow everyone in the world to discover the universe yourself.You go online and star gaze LIVE using the 80 observatory and telescope all around the world.The observatory include the Very Large Telescope,VLT in Chile,one of the largest telescope in earth and the most advance telescope in the world.(I don't know whether Hubble Space Telescope is taking part la)So here is the link http://www.100hoursofastronomy.org/ .

The motto of this event is
"The universe, yours to discover."

The celebration marks the 400th anniversary of Galileo's first astronomical discoveries, in 1609.
